also:
There is a story i almost daren't tell
of how an ancient dwarven king
fell,
Thorin Grimbeard was his name
and he was of greatest fame
in all the lands of Kalimdor
in the Eastern Kingdoms, shore to shore.
Now it was not yet July
when the kingly priests saw that his time was nigh,
Grimbeard wrote his testament,
because he knew his life would end.
It was the time of the second war
and the dwarves didn't know what the future had in store.
At Loch Modan they fought the Trolls (ist das geschichtlich korrekt?)
and had to pay enormous tolls,
but then, when they had almost won,
the cruel deed was to be done.
The guards had found King Thorin dead,
lying on his very own bed,
stabbed with a dagger in the chest,
leaving behind the unfinished quest
of leading the dwarves to victory
and altering their destiny.
The murderer was never found,
but the dwarves, they stood their ground
under his successor's reign
who was not as quickly to be slain.
But that is yet another tale,
someday I'll tell it, without fail.
