Schon seit einiger Zeit werkelt Blizzard an
World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria. Von der insgesamt vierten Erweiterung für das
MMORPG dürfte sich der Hersteller erwartungemäß einen Schwung an neuen bzw. zurückkehrenden Nutzern erhoffen, nachdem man sich derzeit bei ca. zehn Mio. Abonnenten eingependelt hat. Im Falle von
World of Warcraft: Cataclysm hatte das Studio eingestehen müssen, die neuen Inhalte seien schneller durchgespielt worden als erwartet.
Damals hieß es: Man wolle lieber kleinere, dafür in kürzerem Rhythmus erscheinende Add-ons ins Auge fassen.
Mittlerweile steht auch Releasetermin fest: Mists of Pandaria soll am 25. September in den Handel kommen und wird offiziell
34,99 Euro kosten. Für 49,99 Euro bekommt man die Digital Deluxe Edition, die ein paar Boni umfasst.*Bei ausgewählten Händlern gibt es außerdem eine Collector's Edition.
